QUESTION OF TRIVIALITY?
A good friend spots a fallen eyelash on my cheek and takes it to the tip of her thumb. She kindly tells me to blow it off and make a wish. I comply but am not aware of the origins of this particular ritual. Can anybody fill me in on the origins of this wish-making phenomenon? I wish someone would.
