Red at night is a sailor's delight
Red in the morning is a sailor's warning
Dusk settled all around my hometown in Hawaii
Every detail was to perfection
Sky was deep blue
Grass was waving green and yellow
I was running down the hill to get the mail
I look back to my 2-story peach cinderblock duplex
I look up--and the sky goes dark
A storm of gargoyles swept over the sky
I could hear their wings tear through the air
GARGOYLES!
I grab the mail quick and everything gets blurry as I struggle to run up the hill
It was as if time was holding me back
Dead people were in the streets
Gargoyles were ripping them from their homes
Just as one almost grabbed me, I was saved by a Care Bear
The one with the rainbow on its belly with the rainbow powers
The rainbow shot from its belly and I was whisked to safety atop a building
I felt warm inside
