{for a friend who came to play (pickin' flowers)}
LYRICOS:
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better.
The king of Marigold was in the kitchen
Cooking breakfast for the queen
The queen was in the parlour
Playing piano for the children of the king.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
The king was in the garden
Picking flowers for a friend who came to play
The queen was in the playroom
Painting pictures for the childrens holiday.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
The duchess of Kircaldy always smiling
And arriving late for tea
The duke was having problems
With a message at the local bird and bee.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
At twelve o'clock a meeting round the table
For a seance in the dark
With voices out of nowhere
Put on specially by the children for a lark.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry cry cry cry baby
Make your mother sigh.
She's old enough to know better
Cry baby cry
cry cry cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.

i'm done with this game (fine)
muffled old-time sounding vocals and harmonica and clarinet and violin and piano and trumpet and stand up bass and static and the boys began to sigh and look up into the sky - shine on shine on

at Mitchell building on 3rd floor in room for creative purposes in the form of canvases and paints -- listening to Last.fm (for research purposes on online communities)--listened to a song called "I'll Remember April" by the Modern Jazz Quartet which I thought was relevant and coincidental as I am in the last stretch of my college career (here with Reba) listening to Ella Fitzgerald similar artists -- practiced with the band today -- it was productively fun (we are thinking of calling ourselves the GC Love Band--rightly so)

one in hyper-reality

solo (regular reality)

reality yeah Reba says hyper-reality is way cooler (no hyper-reality tools used in the production of the last three fotos of this blog entry)

action ending -- prepping for collaborative { (so cool) and Rebecca Klabacka

a window into my world and an exhibition of my fascination with light gadgets

SUper-hero-esque

documentation of me undermining the "man" at work ---
dialogue:
Fili O (so cool): Set-up to client services (over the walkie-talkie)
Client Services: go ahead
Fili O (so cool): are you smarter than some 5th graders? (in Jeff Foxworthy impersonation)
-
Mike Schmidt (our 27 year old boss at work sitting in his office hears this and doesn't like it one bit): MIKE TO FILI!!!!!!!!!!! (he says angrily over the walkie-talkie)
I says to Evan -- I'm not going to answer that...
(20 second pause over the radio)
Mike Schmidt: MIKE TO FILI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fili O (so cool): (Casually) go ahead...
Mike Schmidt: When on the radio, we need to make sure to stick to - protocol...
Fili O (so cool): Yeah, I figured it was Saturday and I was just goofin'...
Mike Schmidt: blah blah blah blah I'm the Man--obey me ---
(yeah right, I says to myself)

is new song is new song

LYRICS...
she wishes her
words to swords
a-shining
illuminating the way
through the metaphorical valley
of darkness
she steps into the
immortal portal
into the minds
of the GODS
themselves
or herself
or himself
whichever floats her boat to calmer waters
to calmer waters
her soul escapes
it steps into the
immortal portal
into the minds
of the GODS
themselves
or herself
or himself
whichever dots your i's or crosses your t's
in a flash she rolls out of the
immortal portal
startled to be
in the presence of
a psychic being
that proclaims:
"YOUR PAIN IS ROARING and THE RAIN IS POURING,
but worry not
for the filth
will wash away
to reveal
crystalline shores
and other surprises
that'll be surprising to say the least"
to which Lady Liberty
says, "Thank you kindly"
and then spins of into
the
IMMORTAL PORTAL
into the minds
of the GODS
themselves
